Participants can choose a suitable plan according to their needs:

Benefits Benefits

Payable in the event of death:

The benefits payable in the event of a Participant’s death before maturity date of the Certificate will be the higher of:

  • The Takaful Benefits; or
  • The value of the Investment Savings (Cash Value)

Summary of Takaful benefit are shown below:

Regular Single
Equal to the percentage of the total expected regular contribution payable for the contracted term; participant may opt between the two available percentages, (60% or 100%). For participant entry ages 18 – 50 years old:
125% of the Single Contribution.

For participant entry ages 51 – 60 years old:
105% of the Single Contribution.

Benefits Payable in the event of Maturity of the certificate:

Upon maturity of the certificate term, the Net Asset Value of the Units of Unit Fund attached to the certificate is payable. The Net Asset Value (NAV) of the units of Unit Fund is calculated on the first valuation day following the maturity date.

Exclusion:

1.  Exclusion for Death

No benefit shall be payable in the event of death of the participant in death is caused by Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), AIDS related disease or sexually transmitted diseases or where the life of the Participant, were taken by operation of law or where the Participant died as a result of being involved in unlawful and/or criminal acts.

2.  Suicide

In the event the participant, whether sane or insane, commits suicide within 1st certificate year, this certificate shall become void and the Company shall refund the balance from the Unit fund (Value of Units at the valuation date after date of Notification).

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. This plan is underwritten by Takaful Ikhlas Sdn. Bhd. (593075 U), a subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Berhad.
  2. You should satisfy yourself that this plan will serve your needs and that contribution payable under the plan is an amount that you can afford.
  3. You should refer to the Sales Illustration before purchasing this plan.
  4. This is a Lump Sum and Regular contribution investment-linked plan without participating in Company’s profit.
  5. You are given Khiyar (cooling-off period) of 15 days from the delivery date of the plan to review the suitability of the newly purchased plan. Cancellation is allowed during the Khiyar period of which the Company shall refund the amount of accumulated Unit Fund, Service Charge and Tabbaru (donation) that have been deducted and Wakalah (Agent) Fee, less the expenses incurred for the medical examination (if any).
