Seorang ibu tunggal melahirkan rasa gembira, terharu dan bersyukur apabila menerima bayaran ganjaran polisi perlindungan Ikhlas Savings Takaful dari Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd yang dimiliki arwah suaminya.
Penerima berkenaan, Norazilah Shaari, 26, berkata, suaminya, Jamali Jalani meninggal dunia pada 3 Oktober tahun lalu kerana demam.
Menurutnya, suaminya itu hanya bekerja sebagai seorang petani sementara dia hanya sebagai suri rumah sepenuh masa.

The outlook for the domestic takaful business remains bright due to the limited number of takaful operators in the country and because almost 60% of the Malaysian population is still uninsured, industry players and analysts said.
Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd (Takaful Malaysia) group managing director Datuk Hassan Kamil said with only eight takaful operators in the country and two more takaful licences to be issued by Bank Negara, there was plenty room for growth for takaful products.
In line with the positive outlook, Takaful Malaysia aims to increase its market share to more than 50% by aggressively growing its retail distribution capabilities.

Singapore life insurance giant Great Eastern Holdings Ltd is putting the final touches to its plans to start takaful operations in Malaysia, with the latest move being the hiring of a top executive to lead the unit.
Sources told Business Times that the insurer had roped in former Prudential BSN Takaful Bhd chief executive officer Mohamad Salihuddin Ahmad to head its future Islamic insurance operations.
The sources said that Salihuddin was hand-picked by Great Eastern Holdings group chief executive officer Ng Keng Hooi.
