Prudential BSN Takaful (PruBSN) today announced the launch of its latest product “Takaful Puteri rider” which offers protection against the financial impact of expensive treatment in relation to female illnesses.
PruBSN said Takaful Puteri, specially designed for women, provides customers with a comprehensive coverage and flexibility.
“There are two distinctive plans available in Takaful Puteri rider, which are Takaful Puteri and Takaful Puteri Plus,” it said in a statement.

MAA Takaful Bhd, the latest entrant into the takaful market, has launched what is believed to be the industry’s first standalone comprehensive cancer plan that covers all forms of cancer.
Called MAA Takaful CancerCare, the scheme offers benefits at both early and advanced stages of cancer.
Chief executive officer Salim Majid Zain said: “The plan is the first of its kind in the takaful industry. Apart from that, it is unique in that it pays out the benefits at the first stage of cancer for 10 gender-specific cancers to assist the policyholder in seeking the necessary treatment. These gender-specific cancers are common cancers.
“This day and age, no one can say for sure that cancer can be avoided. But with medical advances, it is possible to diagnose most forms of cancer early. That is why our focus is to ensure the survival of our policyholders.”

BATU PAHAT: Takaful Ikhlas membantu meringankan beban kewangan yang ditanggung seorang guru agama, Baharuddin Sodono, 51, yang terpaksa berulang alik ke Kuala Lumpur untuk mendapatkan rawatan lanjut penyakit yang dihidapinya.
Baharuddin berkata, beliau memerlukan perbelanjaan agak besar menjalani rawatan lanjut selepas pembedahan membuang ketumbuhan pankreas di Hospital Selayang, baru-baru ini.
Beliau yang bertugas di Sekolah Agama Rengit, berkata beliau beruntung mengambil polisi dengan Takaful Ikhlas kerana syarikat itu turut memberi perlindungan bagi penyakit kronik.
“Syukurlah, kerana Tafakul Ikhlas memberi perlindungan sepenuhnya kepada penghidap penyakit kronik dan ini meringankan beban yang terpaksa ditanggung untuk mendapatkan rawatan,” katanya ketika ditemui selepas menerima cek di pejabat wakil Takaful Ikhlas, di Taman Maju, di sini.
